PROCESS & WHAT TO EXPECT

STEP I:

If you’d like to get in touch to book, click the contact button on my page header and fill out my initial contact form! Once I’ve read over your form, I’ll follow up to introduce myself and set up a time for us to grab coffee, lunch, or chat over zoom depending on your preference and availability!

STEP II:

We meet!! Yay! This is where we’ll get to learn more about each other. I love learning about you both individually and how you came to be together, how you chose one another, and what excites you about your life together after your wedding. Here you’ll also get to ask me any questions you have, learn more about my approach to photography, and I have a small presentation that goes in depth regarding my style, services, and process. From this meeting, we should both get a good sense if we’d be a great fit in working together to document your day!

STEP III:

Following our meeting, I’ll share my full services guide with you, a proposal for your wedding day services, and a contract and invoice. Once you confirm and officially book with me, we’ll grab coffee, drinks, dinner, or whatever you want! a few times leading up to your day. We’ll chat about life, wedding logistics, your vision and dreams. I love having a sound relationship with my clients and getting to know them on a deeper level to best serve you all on your day since I’ll be present for every moment. On top of this, it’s nice to make friends.

STEP IV:

Leading up to your day, I’ll be in close touch with your wedding planner to be on top of logistics and timelines. I’ll be present with you most of the day and will lend you whatever you need a moment’s notice. If you need to cry or rant, need silence and a space to process, or need a laugh or someone to calm your nerves, I’ll be there. I’m so excited for you and share all of your enthusiasm. Following your day, I’ll be sharing the first edited photos with you within the week!!! After that, I’ll scan your film, edit your photos, and craft your photo box of goodies. Even well after your day has passed, I’ll be here for you.

WHAT ELSE MIGHT I NEED TO KNOW?

  • I use a combination of film and digital! I photograph about 75% digital and 25% on film, and feel out what a moment is calling for. For video, I only utilize super8 and Kodak motion picture film.

  • By being so, so, so excited to celebrate you!!! I’ve been waiting for your day since our first meeting, meticulously studying your intentional planning, listening to you talk about who you’re excited to see on your day, and every little thing in between. I’m here for it all and honored to have the privilege of being chosen to be by your side. I’m there to serve you on your day and this is truly my favorite joy and purpose in life.

  • For weddings and elopements, you receive a sneak peek of your photos within a week of your event. The remainder of your gallery will be delivered within 8-10 weeks including your film. Super8 videos for weddings and elopements will be delivered within the 8-10 week frame as well. Families and engagements do not receive sneak peeks and take 2-4 weeks for delivery. Super8 films for engagements and families follow the same timeline.

    All of my photos are delivered via Pic-Time. All videos are delivered via Vimeo.

  • All bookings are processed using my contact form! It helps me make sure your wedding or elopement date isn’t already booked, or your location and time for your session is available! After that, we’ll meet to make sure we’re a good fit, discuss your vision and dreams, and get started on the booking process! The booking process consists of 1) a customized proposal based on your needs, 2) a contract to be reviewed and signed, 3) a 33% initial, non-refundable deposit and on-time payment schedule (schedules are flexible to client needs).
